Unfortunately the California Coastal Commission provides volunteers with large, heavy-duty, plastic bags to put the trash and recyclables into. This was a little weird for me considering what I was there to do. It seems that the companies that make bio-compostable plastic trash bags would be a natural partner to have for the Cleanup.
